When to go to Hurghada
September–May is ideal — summer is extremely hot (35-40°C). In winter, temperatures of 22-27°C make Hurghada a perfect alternative to Europe.
Where to stay
Makadi Bay for secluded premium resorts, Sahl Hasheesh for luxury, and El Gouna for a modern resort town with plenty of buzz.
Getting around
The airport–hotel transfer is included. Stay at your resort or book guided excursions (Luxor, Cairo) — independent travel is not recommended.
Local food
Head out once for koshari (Egypt's national dish) or a ful medames. Egyptian cuisine is simple but full of flavour.

The direct charter flight from Romania takes around 3h45, with no stopovers. Charters are available from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Timișoara, depending on the week.
The ideal season for Hurghada is September – May (summer is very hot). Average summer temperatures are 35–40°C (winter 22–27°C), perfect for the beach and outdoor activities.
The official currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). Practical tip: Euros and US Dollars are accepted in hotels and across the resort town. We recommend keeping a little cash on hand for tips and local markets.
